The Winter Pantry Appeal, NSW & ACT

Apparently, Anglicare is overwhelmed by the generosity of people and organisations participating this year. The Pantry Appeal is held every winter and seeks donations of non-perishable food and essential living items.  These are distributed to families and people in the community who are facing hardship.

Our Canberra colleagues chipped in to donate a car load of groceries, which Anglicare will distribute to people in need who seek assistance at St John’s Care in Reid, Food Fair at Bargain Hunter, St Benedict’s in Queanbeyan, Club 12/25 in Canberra City and at Anglicare's regional offices and service centres across NSW including Yass, Goulburn, Wagga Wagga, Moruya and Orange.

It’s a small gesture and our thanks go to Anglicare for organising once again.

It's never too late to get involved

Anglicare is well on the way to a 2017 target of 50,000 items donated. See how they're tracking and how to get involved via their tally board.
